We are in a cultural revolution. And how we use AI is going to be an expression of good versus evil.
On one side: the extractors. Builders of algorithmic persuasion engines, exploitative funnels, content farms dressed up as movements — using the most powerful technology in human history to hollow out attention and harvest wallets.
On the other: the revolutionaries, artists, and movement leaders. People who believe you can build wealth and be a force for culture, community, and the flourishing of actual human beings. The ones with enough self-awareness to ask what kind of world they're building with every tool they pick up.
This newsletter is my weekly dispatch from that second camp.
I'm writing this as a guy whose inbox is a nightmare, someone who doesn't really read emails (even though I'm subscribed to hundreds of lists and newsletters under the guise of "market research").
I hate spam. I get a headache seeing the clickbaity subject lines and shallow content thinly veiling an obvious pitch for the next online course. But there are a rare few people that when I see their name pop up in my jungle of a Gmail account that I feel that spark of eager antipication. Someone whose writing I will put that 30 minute block in my calendar to read, savour slowly, and marinate on.
Writing that actually changes how my brain works, and how my day flows.
That's what I aspire the QX Sunday Service to be for those who sign up.
Don't get me wrong. I'm still going to invite you to the cool stuff I'm up to. But only like... 25-28% of the time, and it will be covertly baked into otherwise very enjoyable prose that tickles your amygdala.
It's geared towards entrepreneurs, creatives, and those aspiring to build their damn thing. People who wanna make more money and have more fun doing it. Artists who believe they're here to spark a cultural renaissance. I mean realistically, if you're already here reading this, you know we vibe, and it's probably for you.
